In Fall 2022, I visited Chicago for the first time! It was a great experience and here are some places I got to visit in Chicago.
In Chicago, there is a river running through the city called the "Chicago River". It's very pretty and nice to just walk beside the river and enjoy the scenary. I visited with my family in October and the weather was just right. On the day that I arrived, there was a marathon going on and some people thought I was there for the marathon.
Chicago is famous for its architecture and the birthplace of the skyscraper. The tall and numerous skyscrapers of Chicago show the vibrant economy and industry of the city. In particular, the "Chicago Bean" is a interesting art work in the city's park.
We visited the "Art Institute of Chicago" where many art works from various eras were presented
I was great to finally see the great "Nighthawks" by the famous Edward Hopper in the Art Institude of Chicago.
Chicago has a wonderful large body of water beside it called "Lake Michigan". It felt like being at sea on the boat ride.
The "Navy Pier" where the boat ride started is a great place to walk and enjoy local delicacies such as the Chicago hotdog and deep dish pizza. The centennial wheel is a great fun ride!
